Forward Deployed Engineer (m/w/d)

We are looking for a technically strong Forward Deployed Engineer who combines hands-on full-stack software engineering with experience leading and delivering technical projects. You will build practical solutions, work closely with customers and internal teams, and turn complex requirements into reliable products and integrations.

• Develop and maintain full-stack applications across frontend and backend.
• Design and implement APIs, integrations, data flows, and automation.
• Work directly with customers to understand technical requirements and deliver pragmatic solutions.
• Own technical projects from discovery and architecture through implementation, rollout, and iteration.
• Coordinate dependencies, priorities, risks, and communication across customers and internal engineering teams.
• Debug production issues and improve the reliability and usability of delivered solutions.
• Translate customer and business needs into clear technical plans and working software.

• Several years of professional experience in software engineering, ideally in a full-stack role.
• Strong practical experience with backend and frontend development, APIs, databases, and integrations.
• Experience delivering software projects and coordinating technical stakeholders.
• Ability to understand existing codebases, make sound technical decisions, and ship working solutions.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical topics clearly to customers and non-engineering stakeholders.
• Hands-on, structured, and customer-oriented working style.
• Willingness to work from Berlin regularly; the role offers a hybrid home-office model but is not fully remote.
• Fluent English. German is a plus.
