LEASETEQ builds the orchestration brain for mid‑market car leasing and asset finance in the DACH region. Our platform automates the full contract lifecycle – from origination and credit decision through to end‑of‑term – using Flowable BPM as the core process engine on a modern, event‑driven microservices architecture. We are an AI‑first engineering team: agents, intelligent workflows and LLM‑augmented automation are how we build today, not items on a future roadmap. At LEASETEQ you are the driver of our core engineering team in Berlin: you create clarity, keep delivery flowing and help a growing group of senior engineers do the best work of their careers. You combine facilitation, coaching and hands‑on decision‑making to shape how we build our fintech platform, working closely with our founders and with a strong development partner team in Southeast Asia. In this role you are not just “running Scrum” – you are a creator who co‑designs our ways of working, our AI‑first toolstack and, over time, the entire engineering organization.

• Own and continuously improve all Scrum events (planning, reviews, retros, stand‑ups) for the core product team
• Act as the bridge between Product Owner, engineering and Swiss leadership, turning product vision into executable roadmaps
• Lead and coach a hybrid team of around 5 senior engineers plus a flexible SEA developer pool
• Design async workflows, handover routines and working agreements with our Southeast Asia partners across time zones
• Track and communicate engineering KPIs and delivery health, making issues visible early and proposing options
• Support career development through regular feedback, 1:1s and growth paths for engineers
• Champion AI‑first ways of working (e.g. Copilot, Cursor, Claude, code‑analysis tools) and experiment with new productivity boosters
• Facilitate effective hybrid collaboration (2–3 days in the office, rest remote)
• Run everyday communication in German while switching to English for SEA coordination when needed

• 5+ years experience as Scrum Master, Agile Coach or Engineering Manager in a product software environment
• Proven track record managing distributed teams across time zones, ideally including Asia‑Pacific
• Solid technical literacy: you understand modern web architectures, CI/CD and can talk shop with senior engineers
• Scrum certification (CSM or PSM I/II or similar)
• Confident using Jira and modern async collaboration tooling (e.g. Notion/Confluence, Slack/Teams, Miro)
• Native or near‑native German skills for day‑to‑day team communication
• Very good English for international collaboration
• Experience in fintech, insurtech or enterprise SaaS is a strong plus
• Mindset: servant leader, high ownership, low ego, curious about AI and automation, eager to build culture not just follow process
