For KWS SAAT SE & Co. KGaA, we are looking for a Construction Project Manager (m/f/d) to coordinate KWS' national and international new-build projects. The position is based at our headquarters in Einbeck, Germany, but requires a high degree of mobility to support external project stakeholders worldwide.
We offer you a permanent full-time position with diverse responsibilities and plenty of scope for independent decision-making in an international environment.
- Manage and coordinate national and international construction projects from initial project idea through to commissioning
- Take responsibility for cost, schedule, and quality management throughout all project phases.
- Manage and coordinate external planners, specialist engineers, general contractors and other project stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements, internal standards, occupational health and safety regulations, and security requirements
- Prepare decision papers, project reports and management reports
- Support investment planning, tendering processes, contract awards, and contract management activities
- Provide technical and organizational support to international KWS sites
- Successfully completed degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture or a comparable field; alternatively, a qualification as a Master Craftsman or Technician combined with several years of relevant professional experience
- Several years of experience in planning and managing industrial, administrative or infrastructure projects
- Knowledge of project management as well as contract management and tendering processes
- Confident and professional interaction with internal and external stakeholders, combined with excellent communication skills
- Structured, self-reliant, and solution-oriented approach to work
- Very good German and English language skills
- Enthusiasm for projects in an intercultural working environment and willingness to travel internationally (approx. 50%)
- Interesting and varied tasks and projects in an international environment with opportunities for further development
