About the role: As part of a comprehensive IT carve-out, an independent, high-performing, and service-oriented IT organization is being established for an international trading company. Selected managed service providers will complement the internal teams. As the Workplace Platform Owner, your focus is strategy, governance, service quality, and provider management.

For Workplace & Endpoint Services, we are looking for an experienced professional who will be responsible for the strategic development of the workplace platform, define standards, and manage external service providers. You will create the foundation for a modern, secure, and user-friendly digital workplace for the entire group.

• Own the complete service lifecycle of workplace and endpoint services from strategy through retirement
• Play a key role in the IT carve-out by building the future workplace platform in a provider-driven environment, defining governance models, and collaborating across IT, security, IAM, infrastructure, and business teams
• Own and continuously evolve the workplace and endpoint services strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle
• Define the future vision for the digital workplace and align it with business needs
• Act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders on modern workplace solutions and technologies
• Ensure high service quality, user satisfaction, and achievement of workplace KPIs and SLAs
• Establish and govern workplace standards, including Windows baselines, device compliance, and hardware standards
• Lead endpoint security governance, application control standards, and Intune policy oversight
• Govern software deployment, client configuration, printer, and multimedia standards across the organization
• Manage workplace service providers, ensuring performance, quality, and cost-effective operations
• Drive service reviews, SLA management, escalations, and continuous provider improvement initiatives
• Champion user experience improvements through feedback analysis, standardization, and self-service capabilities
• Support global workplace transformation, technology rollouts, and international workplace standardization

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Proven experience in Workplace, Endpoint Management, or Modern Workplace environments
• Track record as a Service Owner, Product Owner, or Platform Owner with end-to-end service accountability
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Intune, endpoint management, Windows client management, device compliance, and software deployment
• Solid understanding of workplace governance, service management, and operational best practices
• Experience managing external managed service providers and driving service performance improvements
• Strong knowledge of SLA, KPI, and governance frameworks, ensuring high-quality service delivery
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, structured, and analytical approach to problem-solving
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all organizational levels
• Experience supporting transformation initiatives such as IT carve-outs, international rollouts, outsourcing, service integration, or organizational change programs; Microsoft certifications are an advantage
