About the role:
As a Manufacturing / Industrialization Engineer, you will play a key role in bridging the gap between product development and serial production. Your mission is to ensure that new products, processes, and changes are successfully transferred into manufacturing while continuously improving efficiency, quality, and scalability. Working closely with engineering, production, suppliers, and cross-functional stakeholders, you will turn innovative designs into robust production processes and help drive operational excellence throughout the manufacturing organization.
What is your Day to Day Mission:
Lead the introduction of new products and processes into production, including creating work instructions, training operators, and supporting ramp-up activities.
Drive standardization initiatives to improve manufacturing efficiency, product quality, and process stability.
Identify, lead, and implement continuous improvement and optimization projects across the production environment.
Develop and maintain work instructions, production documentation, and test procedures while coordinating closely with relevant stakeholders.
Plan, coordinate, and evaluate prototype and pre-production builds to ensure a smooth transition into serial manufacturing.
Investigate production issues through structured root-cause analysis and implement sustainable corrective actions.
Manage engineering and production changes, ensuring effective communication and alignment across departments and locations.
Conduct time studies and process analyses to identify further optimization potential and increase productivity.
Assess the broader impact of process and product changes, including effects on suppliers, operations, and manufacturing workflows.
Act as the key interface between development teams and production, ensuring manufacturability and smooth implementation of new solutions.
Support the development, specification, and planning of production test equipment and test benches.
What you bring to the team:
A degree or technical qualification in Industrial Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a comparable field.
Experience in manufacturing engineering, industrialization, process engineering, or production engineering, ideally within a high-tech or complex manufacturing environment.
A strong understanding of manufacturing processes, product introduction, and continuous improvement methodologies.
Hands-on curiosity and enthusiasm for technology, whether through professional experience or personal interests such as drones, electronics, model building, robotics, 3D printing, or the maker community.
Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, enabling you to successfully collaborate across departments and act as a trusted internal expert.
A proactive and self-driven mindset with the ability to independently own projects and drive them to completion.
An analytical and structured approach to problem-solving, combined with a passion for improving processes and products.
Fluency in both German and English.
