Drive program governance and execution across Product Management, R&D, and key partners, aligning priorities, decisions, milestones, dependencies, risks, and escalations across shared platform and its product initiatives, including programs such as Kai-Stone.
Partner with engineering and product teams to ensure the imaging component and hardware-software integration meet product requirements and progress against the integrated program plan.
Define new portfolio initiatives with Product Management, using customer discovery, market assessment, and product-market-fit evidence to expand and prioritize the NPD funnel.
Identify, develop, and manage technology partnerships that extend Molecular Devices capabilities, leverage external innovation, and support NPD execution.
Build business cases and recommendations for future products, platform investments, and partnerships, translating decisions into roadmaps and cross-functional action plans.

Bachelor's degree in life sciences, engineering, business, or a related field.
8+ years of relevant experience in product management, portfolio development, business development, or strategic programs within life science tools, laboratory instrumentation, or a related industry.
Experience defining product opportunities through customer research, market analysis, product requirements, and business-case development.
Experience leading cross-functional new product development or platform programs involving hardware and software integration.
Experience evaluating, developing, or managing external technology partnerships or product development collaborations.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

Cellular imaging, microplate readers, laboratory automation, or scientific software.
Modular instrument platforms and system-level integration of imaging hardware and software.
Portfolio governance, partnership agreements, or the Danaher Business System.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

Ability to travel up to 20%, including occasional international travel, to support partner and program activities.
