Your Profile
You have:
- An excellent Master's degree in a scientific or technical discipline such as physics, technical optics, mechanical engineering, mechatronics or a comparable field; a PhD would be an advantage
- In-depth knowledge of optical metrology, particularly interferometric or spectroscopic measurement methods
- A deep understanding of measurement algorithm development, calibration methods, error budgets, data analysis and data processing
- Practical experience in working with optical setups and their alignment
- Strong programming skills, preferably in Python
- Excellent teamwork skills, a confident and professional manner and strong communication skills
- Experience in project work would be an advantage
- A high level of self-motivation and commitment, combined with a strong interest in thinking beyond established approaches and driving topics forward
