Advanced Clinician Scientist (m/f/d)

The Faculty of Medicine at the Dresden University of Technology, one of the 11 German Universities of Excellence, is strengthening translational research and career perspectives for researching physicians with its Advanced Clinician Scientist Program CAMINO - “Career Advancements in Multidimensional TumorTargeting'', funded by the BMFTR.

The program offers a long-term research perspective for expert physicians in the fields of CAMINO pipelines: Immunity and Inflammation, Cell and Gene Therapy, Functional Profiling for Precision Oncology, and Data Science and Digital Health in Therapy and Prevention.

• You are an advanced medical doctor with completed specialized medical training (Facharzt) and habilitation (or equivalent), including a license to practice medicine in Germany.
• You demonstrate an independent, competitive research profile and a desire to integrate into the translational oncology research landscape.
• You have a proven record of exceptional research and expertise in a field related to the CAMINO research pipelines, and seek to establish collaborations on campus.

The position is available starting March 1, 2027, on a part-time basis (20 hours per week) for a term of 2–5 years. Compensation is based on the pay scale provisions of the collective bargaining agreement for the public sector (TV-L) and, provided the candidate meets the personal requirements, may be in pay grade Ä2 or higher.

• Compensation: Based on the TV-L collective bargaining agreement in pay grade Ä2 or higher, plus an annual bonus, provided you meet the personal requirements
