Your Tasks
- Analyze pre-operative CT and MRI scans of the temporal bone and inner ear
- Identify the cochlear, vestibule, semicircular canals, internal auditory canal, facial nerve canal, round window region and other relevant anatomical structures
- Perform manual and semi-automatic segmentation of inner-ear structures
- Carry out anatomical measurements and quantitative image analysis
- Contribute to the development of tools for standardized inner-ear anatomical classification and cochlear implant planning
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s degree or higher degree (University, FH) in Biomedical Engineering, Medical Engineering, Clinical Engineering, Medical Physics, Imaging Science, Computer Science, or a related field
- Strong fundamental understanding of medical imaging, particularly CT and MRI
- Solid knowledge of CT image interpretation, including windowing, spatial resolution, slice thickness, and voxel dimensions
- Familiarity with MRI image contrast, commonly used imaging sequences, and technical documentation in English
- Ability to work accurately with complex imaging datasets and communicate effectively in written and spoken English
